Battery pack modelling

I am trying to model battery pack of 4 cells in series i.e 4S1P configuration using Ansys fluent NTGK model.
For image given below, when i am including two heat carrier plate ( placed between cells ) in passive components then it is giving wrong battery connection of 2 cells in series and 3 cells in parallel however when i am not including both heat carrier plate in passive components then it is giving correct battery connection of 4 cells in series and 1 in parallel.
I have found out it is due to contact region between two heat carrier plates i.e if i am deleting these contact region then battery model is showing correct battery connection otherwise not, does anyone have idea regarding this ?
