SubscriberHi,
First of all thanks for posting these benchmark studies.
I had a question about the fluid studies. At what time step are the results between Discovery LIVE and AIM compared? Apart from case 5.7 (von Karman Vortex Shedding), for which the results are stated to be compared at timestep 't = 10s', I couldn't find this information for any other case. Are these steady-state results for the other 6 cases? If yes, could you please explain how to set up a steady steady case for fluid simulations in Discovery Live? (apologies if this is a rookie question, or if this has been asked somewhere else in the forum)
Thanks -

Ansys EmployeeHi gm86
The other 6 cases are steady-state studies in Discover AIM. In Discovery Live the results are taken once the value stabilizes after the simulation is initiated. Currently for Fluids, steady-state is not possible. Although it is possible in Thermal.

SubscriberThanks for your reply and the clarification Subashni
Is the steady state solver for fluids something that is in the development pipeline? Would it be prudent to expect this in the next release?

In the recently released Discovery 19.2 version, there isn't any such development included. We thank you for sharing your feedback. We will share your idea/input with the product development team.
