SubscriberI want to simulate the cooling system of a Formula Student Car for my university. I dont need a software to simulate the detailed heat of a part, but a software that can build a model of the whole system so that I can see the Temperature which occurs. It should be able to put things like the elekctric motor in the model as one "block" with the connections to the radiators and so on.
I was looking for some kind of that software on the ansys website a few months ago and I found something that looked good for that purpose. Unfortunately I didnt write down the name and I cant find the software on the website anymore. I think I remember it said I need the Ansys Twin Builder to use the software.
Does someone know which software could it be? Or does someone know which software I should use for the simulation I want to do?
Thank you!

Ansys EmployeeTwin builder ought to do this - you're building a network model where each component will then need some Reduced Order Model(s) to link together. Getting the ROMs is another matter!

SubscriberHi Rob, thanks for your answer!
You said I need to create a Model of each component. Is there a way not to create a whole model for each component but just to create something like heat sources with a few parameters? So that these heat sources dont need to "know" what they are? For my problem it doesnt really matter if the heat source is an electric engine or like a combustion or or whatever.

Ansys EmployeeThat's what the ROM is: you need a "block" for the various bits of car and links to pass heat/energy/stuff between the blocks. The Systems section will be able to give more guidance.
