SubscriberHi sbpatil
There is no option to apply enthalpy as a boundary condition in DL. Enthalpy is the property of system and more often its the change in enthalpy that is of significance, hence applying enthalpy (which is a state function depending on u, p and v) as a BC to a surface does sound ambiguous. I believe its highly unlikely to have enthalpy as a standard BC in any simulation.
If you may please elaborate a bit more on your application and requirement, I might be able to help you further by suggesting a way possible or a workaround.
Regards,
Gaurav

SubscriberHi @Gaurav_ANSYS
Thank you for the reply, thank you for the detailed information on boundary condition.
I understood that heat flux is more suitable boundary condition for my problem.
adding to it is discovery live capable of solving compressible flows.

SubscriberHello sbpatil
Documentation suggests that Discovery Live supports only mildly compressible fluid flow upto ~0.3 Mach. But as you know, the density change due to velocity is very low in this range and hence the study of compressible flow is not much relevant in DL. Albeit, compressible flow is fully supported in Discovery AIM.
We thank you for sharing your feedback. We will share your idea/input with the product development team.
