Spaceclaim 2020 R2; You can no longer select a smart hole as the "Up To" point of the mating hole. If you try and select the center mark of the smart hole, it wipes out your counterbore.

      Hello Don Lewis ,

I tried recreating your query, and I did not face the issue you are facing. I have attached a video, of me doing it.

If this is not what you were trying to do, can you please share the files and/or screenshots with a generic model?

If you try and select the center mark of the smart hole, it wipes out your counterbore.

I did not understand this particular issue.

        Regards.

      Charudatta,

If I use the popup menu to select "Up To" it seems to work, but if I use the hotkey I get a completely different result.

        Hello Don Lewis ,

That is an unusual behavior (since it worked on my end), can you check the customize command shortcut assigned to "U"?

If it is correct and you are still facing an issue, I will have to discuss it with concerned people and get back to you.

There is no customization applied to U.

        Hello Don Lewis ,

It is possible that U might be assigned to some other operation, can you please 'Add' or 'edit' shortcut for U? Make it 'up to'. Let me know if that works.

        Hello Don Lewis ,

Is this problem specific to a model or you are facing it for all the files?

If it is file specific, can you share it with us?

        Regards.

Charudatta Bandgar I created the file I used in the video example specifically to show the problem, so no, it is not file specific. (See attached)

      Hello Don Lewis ,

Although this behaviour is not very frequently seen for other customers, I have filed a bug report (Bug ID: 317091), to bring this to developers notice. I will let you know if I get to know more regarding this. Until then you can use the   tool, if that is working for you.

      Regards.

      Hello Don Lewis ,

Can you please follow below-mentioned steps and send me the journal file folder along with the log files,

      Steps:

      1. Open a new session of SpaceClaim, open the file, and go through the steps where it fails.
      2. Exit SpaceClaim
      3. Open a File Explorer window and type: %appdata%.
      4. Go to the SpaceClaim folder, and then find the Journal File folder (it should look something like the image attached with your user name):
      5. Send the latest journal file associated with the session from step #1 above.
      6. Get the latest log file: (i.e. C:Users...Customer...AppDataRoamingSpaceClaimLog Files) and send them.

Thanks in advance and apologies for the inconvenience.
