      Hello everyone,

I am doing a CFD simulation for a building. I selected the materials I wanted, and I ran the simulation, and every thing worked. Now I would like to compare between if the building is painted white and black. All research and experiments prove that the surface temperature of a white building is much lower than the a black one. How can I identify that and change the colour in Ansys fluent? The configuration of the façade layers is an expanded polystyrene (EPS) layer in between two layers of heavyweight concrete blocks. My model are both solid and fluid.

      All the best
      Ahmed

You can check temperature contour. Please check

Depending on temperature contour, you can decide it further.

Please go through help manual for more details

    Hello Keyur,

My question is not regarding how to display the temperature contour or colour. I am asking how in the solution phase, I can make the wall defined as white reflective colour. I am asking in general for any material as a white colour surface reflects the sun's radiation whereas a black colour surface absorbs the heat.

    Regards
    Ahmed
