      Hi,

How is the cable stiffness calculated for a linear chains? Isn't the axial stiffness just the product of elastic modulus and twice the cross-sectional area of the chain? I'm wondering what per length it should be divided.

Hi, the stiffness here is not EA stiffness but a linear stiffness as the type of cable is linear. So, the stretched length times this stiffness will be the force this cable provides.
