Hi, Our client has a temp discovery ultimate enterprise licence and has managed to install the software, licence and the CAD translators package without problems. But when trying to import CATIA files or create new geometry within AIM they get this error. After selecting 'ok' they get     They are able to do both in Spaceclaim as normal. They have now tried it on two machines with the same end result and this is the first ANSYS product they have installed.   Any help would be greatly appreciated,   Alex

Hello  Alex I noticed an instance where reinstalling helped to overcome this issue. Also, make sure that they run the setup in administrative mode.

        Hi Naresh Patre

It has been re-installed, and run in administrative mode. Still gives the same error

Alex I will check with the team and let you know. Meanwhile, you mentioned that this error occurs when trying to import CATIA files or create new geometry. Does it occur even while importing any other file format like stp, parasolid, etc.?

Alex Also can you let me know which version of Catia are they trying to import?

Naresh Patre Step files show the same error and they have tried using Catia files from versions 21 and 22.

Alex Can you send following log files located at ~/Ansys Inc

        Install.log

        Install_licconfig.log

        Install.err (if it exists)
