SubscriberHi,
I conducted thermomechanical analysis by coupling steady state thermal and static structural analyses modules. I would like to calculate the factor of safety according to UTS and Sy. But, I would like to consider the temperature effect to FOS. So, I tought that a way as mentioned below;
1) Determination of UTS (T) and Sy (T) equations by using fitted curves to UTS-T and Sy-T diagrams
2) Defining the UTS and Sy values for each nodes by using these equations,
3) Dividing the nodal UTS and Sy values to Von-Mises stresses
I will appreciate it if you can provide macro or any method to define FOS for each nodes.
Thanks in advance,
Talha E. Ba?

SubscriberHi Rohith,
I accomplished it by using UDF as using steps shared before.
Thanks for your concern.
Bests,
Talha
