I am doing a comparative study in terms of the computational time required for the same calculation using Fluent v17 and Fluent v19.
I am getting approximately same calculation time, but in some forums I read that Fluent v19 is quite faster.
Could anyone help me with this?

I would directly update to 2020R1 as release 17.0 and release 19.0 are outdated and not supported.

Thanks very much. Is a good advice.
However, when comparing version 17 and 19, do you have any insight about computational time?

Check on Ansys webpage: https://www.ansys.com/solutions/solutions-by-role/it-professionals/platform-support/benchmarks-overview/ansys-fluent-benchmarks and compare between releases.
