Can I solved hinged body in Explicit Dynamics

      you can simulate it , you may want to use the revolute joint with the initial velocity to the body to solve the problem. But for the SPH, i don't think you can add a joint you may want to position it at an angle and use initial velocity to that plate.

      I don't see any hinge in the description.
      I see a Flier Plate travelling vertically downward with a velocity of 350 m/s with a 7 degree angle to the Base Plate. The left corner hits first and the impact causes aluminum debris particles to spray to the right with a velocity of Vc.
      You can model this in ANSYS using a SPH model.
