Can we install 2 versions of Fluent on Linux machine

According to this post: https://forum.ansys.com/forums/topic/very-different-particle-tracks-with-discrete-random-walk-model-activated-between-v14-5-and-v18-2/, different versions of Fluent give different results for random walk model. Thus, I need to use Fluent 17.2 while my friend still using 18.2. Is it possible to have both versions installed on the Linux machine.

Yes can be installed on same machine if and only if you are using a non student Ansys package.

Do you have any instruction to install the 2nd version of Fluent in the Linux machine?

Assuming it's not the Student version just install it that same way as the first: it'll go into a folder with the version number appended. You may need to alter the .cshrc file to attach to the correct Fluent executable, but your Sysadmin can help you with that. There should be a readme or similar where you downloaded the install files.
