Can you add the non-existed-in-reality element or species in Chemkin mechanism?

      I tried to add the element name 'AA' in the Chemkin reaction file when creating a flamelet model. However, there is an error saying like element 'AA' is not recognized. After I erased the 'AA' element, it works again. Does anyone know if this is doable?

      May I know why this is being done? Depending on the end goal, there is probably another way to assign species.

      Since 'AA' is not an element in the periodic table, your 'AA' might not be the same as the others'. You need to define the 'AA' element (i.e., its atomic weight) before you can use it in the mechanism (to define species).
