Can’t connect points in the beam assembly

  I've converted the solid elements imported from a CAD into beam elements, however, I've not been able to connect all adjacent points, like I can't select them. Does anyone know what's the issue?

  In the prepare tool (beams), see the Connect button (beams – use free ends only option).
  Also the repair and curve gap tool.
