I have a mac m1 laptop running parallels to windows 11. I am trying to intall the student version of Ansys and I keep getting error code MS VC++ 2019 Redistributable x64. I tried downloading microsoft visual studio (version 2015 and on), but it hasn't fixed the error code. Has anyone else has this issue or has any ideas how to fix it?

We don't support Mac OS so don't have a definitive answer. Search on here as there have been a few attempts to get it working.

With the solvers or trying to get UDFs compiled? Win10/11 should have all of the stuff to install Ansys Student, it's only Mac OS that's lacking.
