I can't run the downloaded and installed trial version of space claim. From liscence Manager I always receive following message. My account says I have a running liscence until 26th January... What am I doing wrong?

      Hello Andreas

The License Manager is required if you have a floating license of SpaceClaim. Since you have a named user trial license, you don't have to worry about the license manager and its messages. Simply close the license manager page and launch SpaceClaim.

Let me know if you face any issues.

Naresh Patre thanks for your response! However I can't open spaceclaim from the windows toolbar (pics 1+2). This way there always opens an account login (Pic 3) which I enter and nothing happens. Doing the setup again leads to a notice (pic4) that I don't have right liscence and can only run a non-editable version - then the program opens (but I can't open. obj or. stl files). After closing the program it can't be opened again via the windows toolbar as mentioned above? I really appreciate your help and would test the performance of spaceclaim.

      Hello Andreas

If the applications don't start, activate the Named User (Subscription) license manually through Command Prompt. Please refer to below article on activating the license manually through Command Prompt.

Discovery Subscription license - Command line options - Knowledge Base - Ansys Discovery Forum

Once the Named User (Subscription) license is successfully activated through Command Prompt, launch SpaceClaim or Discovery 2020 R2. The login page won't appear and you should be able to launch and use the applications successfully.
