I want to simulate the capillary filling showed in the picture. What should be the b.c. for the VOF

to use ?

Pressure inlet, but you'll have fun with the pressure setting due to hydrostatic head.

Trapezoidal static pressure load by udf ?

You can activate the operating density, gravity and add a pressure reference in order to take the hydrostatic pressure into consideration.
