Ansys EmployeeHello,
Are you referring to
a) a license to run ANSYS then it is a part of the download and install.
b) a course providing certification in use of ANSYS ?

I finish writing my PhD thesis. In the research work carried out using ANSYS ACADEMIC STUDENT. I didn’t pay attention to the question of the legality of using this software, as in the university where I studied in graduate school and work there is neither an academic or a commercial license.
I need the license legality of using Ansys software.

Ansys EmployeeHi Usama12,
We don't provide certificate's of registration for our academic products. Instead, the ANSYS Student product has a click wrap legal agreement that you need to accept before you download, and our paid for Research and Teaching licenses have a license form that references our terms of use (including the EULA). Our academic terms of use are published here: https://www.ansys.com/academic/terms-and-conditions
For your PhD work, ideally you should be using our Academic Research product. Our Student Products are intended for personal learning use, not for academic research.
If your university has academic or commercial ANSYS licenses for students or researchers use, then help us change that situation and ask your supervisor/professor to reach out to us for access to the correct licenses.
Kind regards,
Paul.

SubscriberHi pgl
Unfortunately, our university does not have an ANSYS academic or commercial license for use by students or researchers.
Can I buy a product of academic research? And if so, how much does it cost?

Ansys EmployeePlease can you ask your supervisor to contact us via the "Contact us" button on ansys.com using their University address: it needs to be a staff member as opposed to a student. That message will then be passed to the local team who'll then get in touch.
