SubscriberHelp,
I have completed a simple laminar pipe flow simulation in Fluent, and when I open CFD-Post to start the post processing, the view screen is all black. I am running Windows 7 with Intel HD Graphics 3000.
How do I fix the black screen?
Thanks,
Kevin

Ansys EmployeeUse a real graphic card or start in batch. -

SubscriberI have the same problem.
I did the exercises Laminar Pipe Flow to the very end. I have a problem when I want to get in Results (CFD-Post).
The part of the screen, on which the model should be seen, is completely black. What should I do?
I'm using the Windows 7 (64-bit). The version of the program is 2019 R1. The graphics card specification is attached.

SubscriberSame problem here;
Windows 8.1 , INTEL HD GRAPHICS 3000, ANSYS R3 2019
I have created results using FLUENT with no problems but when I start CFD-POST the viewer screen is black. I tried to update my graphics card driver but it was up to date.
help please..

SubscriberIntegrated graphics cards are not sufficient. In order to use CFD-POST I had to use a computer with a dedicated graphics card. If you are going to invest, do your homework as not all dedicated cards are the same. Some are really designed for gaming, while others are designed for industrial applications like ANSYS. This being said, much of what can be done in CFD-POST can be done in FLUENT, with a bit of work.

Ansys EmployeeAlso check you're using the separate card with CFD Post, Win10 will often default to the motherboard graphics for some reason.
kschindew has the right idea, and I use Fluent post processing for pretty much everything.

SubscriberIt is a graphic card issue. Set your pc default graphics card as Nvidia then try opening Workbench. This worked for me 2020R2 on WIN10 PC. For more explanations you can have a look at https://forum.ansys.com/discussion/387/fluents-black-graphic-windown
