SubscriberI need to make a CFD simulation on a projectile for a potential client.
The speed we want to simulate is from 800-1000 m/s
The important thing to get out of it is a drag coefficient.
The question is, can discovery handle this simulation in refined mode, and if so, what settings sholud be used to get the most accurate results.

Ansys EmployeeHello Daniel Cadsys
We currently do not support Compressible flow in Refine or Explore modes. So, it is not possible to simulate your requirement.
Our development team is working on bringing these features in future releases.
We thank you for sharing your feedback. We will share your idea/input with the product development team

SubscriberSo you need Ansys fluent to do this?
And if that is the case, can you set up most of the simulation in discovery, and then export to fluent to simulate it?
