SubscriberHello Users,
I am facing problem with detonation simulation. I am using reaction mechanism (Hydrogen 2004) from this page: https://www.universityofgalway.ie/combustionchemistrycentre/mechanismdownloads/
and I am importing this as Chemkin Mechanism. When I patch zones with given boundary conditions and stoichometric mixture of hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen then run simulation no chemical reaction occurs, therefore detonation also doesnt occur.
Have You any ideas where might be the problem?
Thanks for help!

Ansys EmployeeDo you need a hot spot to trigger the reaction? Ie the patch equivalent of a spark? Alternatively some of the combustion models require a small fraction of the products to trigger the reaction maths. They're the common issues once everything else is set correctly.
