Can someone explain to me why one would choose coefficient over volume base methods?
HannahJune 14, 2021 at 3:10 pmRKAnsys EmployeeHello,
Can you please elaborate on your question.
June 22, 2021 at 8:16 pmhnorthrupSubscriberSure, it's part of the Dynamic Mesh window. It's one of the system coupling stabilization methods that is offered. There are two options, either coefficient based or volume based methods. The default is coefficient based. I looked up the two methods in the manual and while it explains the math behind the two methods, it does not explain why you would want to choose one vs the other. Thanks!
