SubscriberI am trying to define a set of composite materials for a composite fatigue simulation. Does anybody know how the definition of a composite material in ACP Engineering Data works? I understand that the required categories are orthotropic elasticity, orthotropic stress/strain limits and ply type.
Does the orthotropic elasticity apply to the fibre/resin combination in the case of a pre-preg material or the fibres only?
Is the material data defined for a pre or post cured state?
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
