Ren
Ansys EmployeeIn Forte the user cannot input the compression ratio (CR) for ICE and the value of the compression ratio is not needed/used in the calculation. Instead, the compression ratio is implied by the dimensions of the geometry such as the chamber volume at TDC and the dimensions of cylinder bore, stroke, connecting rod length and piston offset. If you want to check the CR you can use the CR Calculator in the Utilities group in the GUI.
