Ansys EmployeeJoin the club! R19.2 was released summer(ish) 2018. 2019R2 (installer folder is 19.4) was released late spring 2019. We changed the version numbering for this year, but it's slightly confusing to most people. All becomes clear in the New Year when 2020R1 is released.

SubscriberSo it is just a new denomination, which means from now on it will be denoted with the 20XX RX numbering instead of XX.X (2019 R1 rather than 19.1 for example).
Thanks.

Ansys EmployeePretty much. We've switched to the year as the release ID, the confusion is because we switched from R19.x (2018 release) to 2019Rx (2019 release).
