Conservation of Momentum for Ansys Fluent solve

      Hi everybody,

I am solving a concentric spherical problem for 3D, where inner spherical is rotating with sin(wt) with respect to z-axis, and the outer stationary.

I am curious, whether Ansys Fluent is solving this problem using Conservation of Linear Momentum or Conservation of Angular Momentum ?

Please advice. Thank you very much.

The picture details is attached as in below.

The solver conserves momentum: check the equations in the theory guide.

      Hi Sir,

would like to ask, for this case, the rotational velocity of sin(wt), should I using relative velocity formulation or absolute velocity formulation ?

I leave that option alone; not sure I've ever used it.
