Dear,

 

For a customer I'm investigating a problem with constrained based sketching.

In no way we can disable this..

I disable the option, turns off, then open a file and turns on again..

 

I can not reproduce this at my pc..

Example file added + video stating the problem.

 

What can we do?

Yes I was also not able to reproduce this at my end. Please check if the customer has restarted SpaceClaim after doing the same. SpaceClaim needs to restarted to see the change.

It could be beneficial to reset the user settings from SpaceClaim Options > Advanced > Reset All User Settings.

If they continue to run into problems, please send me a recent SpaceClaim log file (from the error session).

The SpaceClaim log files can be found in C:UsersAppDataRoamingSpaceClaimLog Files.
(Sometimes the AppData folder is hidden. To find it, type %appdata% into the file path and press enter)

Please check the attached video describing the correct process to Turn off Constraint based sketching. Check if the the customer is doing the same. Let me know if the error persists even after this. Thank you.

Exactly what we do, like your video.

Now I've installed version 2022R2, we did not use settings from last version + I deleted former versions.

at first Constrained based sketching is disabled, whenever we open this doc, it's turned on..

I am not able to reproduce the behavior at my end. Please can you try deleting the contents of %appdata%LocalSpaceClaim and see if that helps.

Also this problem is happening only when you open this model file, right?
