SubscriberHello,
I am working with a 2D model that has several surface bodies as shown in the screenshot below.
The circle body moves vertically (along the Y axis) and after every displacement, a boolean operation subtracts the circle from the rectangle body above it.
However, I need the 2 points connected to the edge of the circle (circled in red in the screenshot above) to move with the circle such that when the circle moves downwards for example, the lower edges of the rectangle above become inclined as shown in the screenshot below.
Would it be possible to set a constraint that would do this in Design Modeler?
Best regards,
Diane

SubscriberTry creating Point entities at the Vertices on the round object and at the corners of the rectangle. Then create a sketch with four lines that go between these four points. When the Y displacement is non-zero, that sketch will be able to create a face. If it doesn't seem to work, please attach your workbench project archive .wbpz file after you post a reply.

SubscriberHello,
Thank you for your help.
I wasn't able to make it work, I think I don't really understand how to create the point entities and the lines.
Should the points created be "Construction points"? And where on the round object should I place them exactly since depending on the Y displacement the intersection between the edges of the circle and rectangle changes?
