Ansys EmployeeWe have a much better workflow now (in 2020 release and onwards) for the rebars using the reinf264 elements - you just add your steel rebars as line bodies and then use a reinforcement type (see yellow highlight in the image below) in mechanical instead of beam and they will be automatically embedded in the concrete.
