SubscriberHello everyone. I've done static structural analysis. However I've encountered a problem about sliding distance solution under contact tool. While some contact regions (frcitional contact) have sliding distance values on faces (A, C, G, I, J), the others (B, D, E, F, H) don't have solution. Why doesn't it calculate or show on some surfaces even though everything is the same? What could be the reason?

Ansys EmployeeHi Mustafa,
Contact results will only be calculated for the contact side and not for the target side. So, it will show the results only for the contact side. Make sure that you have selected the contact side properly.
Thank you,
Akshay Maniyar

SubscriberHi Akshay Maniyar;
Thank you very much for the reply. I've already check the both side. However there is no sliding distance result on both side.
Best regards...

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Can you check other results for those surfaces like status, gap, and see if those make any sense? Also, can you share more details about your model and contact settings?
Thank you,
Akshay Maniyar
