SubscriberHello All,
I have set my convergence criteria to 10e-06. The continuity has not fallen more than 10e-03 where as the other residuals had fallen even below 10e-06. As a result I have not gotten a converged solution. I used SIMPLE Algorithm as default and Bounded 2nd Order for Transient Formulation. I also left the URF as default.
Please can I get some insight on what to do to get a converged solution.
Thanks

Ansys EmployeePlease have a look at first into Judging Convergence in Fluent User's Guide.
Moreover try using coupled solver for enhanced (quicker) convergence.

Ansys EmployeeResidual convergence alone is not a warranty that a case is converged aslo check fluxes under mass imbalances and monitor the convergence behavior of some important quantities.
