i am simulating mixte convection inside 3d differientially heated cavity filled with air cavity vented throw an inlet gap in turbulent regime (Re=700/ Rat=2.6x10power9) , and i have problem with convergence even i am using a fine structured mesh  , knowing that the same case in 2d gave a good results.

as ansys employee, we can not download attachments. can you please insert zoomed in images of your geometry, mesh and set up.

Have you plotted any monitor points in the domain? In buoyancy driven flow you often pick up transients in the flow (2d is less susceptible to this). Overall the flow is not changing but there are some small variations which prevent the solver from converging.
