We had to Change our PC and System to Windows 10.

Now we get the an error message when starting aim.

      We use a Abonnement license.

Using ping command Shows no loss.

Any suggestions to help with this issue.

      Thank you

      Hello Sebastian Hörteis

Looks like you have chosen the wrong licensing mode during installation.

Please go through this page to change your licensing mode.

      Hello  Sebastian Hörteis

Did changing the licensing mode solve the issue? Or so are you still facing any problem accessing Discovery Products?

Hello Subashni, thank you for your help. It was no license issue. The licensing mode was correct.

We got the error message when starting AIM via the shortcut button on the Desktop. When starting AIM via Programm directly there was no error any more. Don't know what happend but we replaced the shortcut and now it works...

      Hello Sebastian Hörteis

Good to know that the issue is resolved.

If you right-click and check the properties on the icon, you will see under 'Shortcut'> 'Target', the path also contains licensing information, such as, "--aim --license-mode=".

That could have been the issue.

Thank you for letting us know. Hope you enjoy using ANSYS Discovery Products.
