I have hit a bit of a snag in my learning experience with Fluent. I am trying to test different air inlet setups on a fin, as per the photo attached, and I am unsure of how to achieve an enclosure with the inlet being part of the enclosure. I am trying to design an 80mm circular inlet that is raised 20mm off the top of the enclosure wall as in the photo but I am unsure of how to go about it? I understand the basics of enclosure use, where you draw up the cushions, and and define the named selections that you call again within the fluent setup, But I am unsure of how to go about doing it this way. I want to then move the inlet to the side walls, and even test an outlet for example but I am unsure of how to go about it. Is there a way to create a custom geometry for the enclosure and treat is as an enclosure?
I'd appreciate any help in this regard.June 1, 2021 at 10:26 amKeyur KanadeAnsys EmployeeAs ANSYS Staff, we can not download attachments. Please upload images using upload image functionality.
You can create custom geometry and use it as enclosure in SpaceClaim.
