Creating anisotropic magnetic material in FDTD

      Hello,

I am using Lumerical's FDTD software and I have a question about creating general anisotropic materials with optical and magnetic anisotropy.

I wanted to generate anisotropic magnetic material with 9 element permeability tensor together with 9 element permittivity tensor. I read the website: https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034394694-Creating-anisotropic-optical-materials-in-FDTD-and-MODE describing how to generate general anisotropy for permittivity tensor.

I think in this case it is needed to generate two grid attributes for the same material, one for the permittivity tensor and one for the permeability tensor. Can you please let me know if it is possible in Lumerical FDTD?

      Thank you,

Unfortunately the current FDTD does not support the full tensor magnetic material. Please file a feature request here:
