Creep in polyimide strain gauge connected to a stainless steel cylinder

This is in continuation to what peteroznewman has taught me.
The task is to measure creep strain in a strain gauge at different times/duration made of polyimide bonded to stainless steel cylinder. The strain gauge is practically located in the middle of the cylinder as shown
peteroznewman has demonstrated on how to measure the equivalent creep strain. As a beginner, I was just wondering if the procedure in the previous post will reveal the same results? Thank you.
