SubscriberHi all.
Is it possible to evaluate the stress strength of rubber (MPa)?
For example, there was a tensile test of uniaxial rubber. The rupture load point was determined and this stress was calculated. Could this be a criterion for rubber degradation?

Ansys EmployeeHello javat33489 ,
You can refer this: How do you find the tensile strength of rubber? | Martin’s Rubber (martins-rubber.co.uk)
Thanks.

SubscriberPerhaps you did not understand me. I made a test. And set the limit of strength of rubber. Now I am using this material. But how, according to the calculations, can I understand that the rubber will break? What should be compared?
