Critical Reynolds number and limit of the laminar model

I'm studying the laminar flow on a NACA 4412 profile and I was wondering which is the critical reynolds number for this case, in particular i would like to know which is the max reynolds number at which the laminar model is able to give reliable results.

      Any ideas?

We can't really answer that. Flow separation, mesh, time step size, wing shape etc will all play a role, so it's not a case of giving a single value.

If you run the laminar model at what point don't you get data that agree with publications?
