SubscriberObjective of our project: Try to bend 3D object for E field simulation using wave port.
What we tried so far:
1) Simulate with 3 D object for E field simulation.
2) We bent the 2D antenna using wrap sheet function.
3) Then we add the thickness of the wrap sheet function, but the antenna disappears from the work space and the object changes from solids to unclassified.
Is there any other ways we can bend 3D object so that we can simulate for the E field?
Do you know when we try to add the thickness to the curved antenna, it disappears and changes from solids to unclassified?

Ansys EmployeeBumping this up for better visibility. I've also moved it to our Electromagnetics category, and added some tags.
We'll get you an answer ASAP - You've been very patient.

Ansys EmployeeAre you getting any error message when you try to thicken the sheet? The error message generally tells the reason why its unable to thicken sheet. If you post the error message, that would be helpful.

SubscriberI was able to solve this problem. The issue was that I should wrap the antenna to the cylinder first, and then add thickness to the antenna.
Thank you so much for all your help!
