cx2210.exe has stopped working

      Dear Team


      I currently use ANSYS 2022R1.

      When they click File > Preferences in Fluent, and an error message window will appear: "cx2210.exe has stopped working. Windows is looking for a solution to the problem..."


      Then I install ANSYS 2022R2 for fix the problem.

      I click Workflow > Import Geometry in Fluent Meshing or click File > Preferences in Fluent Solver, the software will display an error message window saying: "cx2210.exe has stopped working Windows Looking for a solution to a problem..."


      How can I solve this problem?

      It is tricky to narrow down to one reason for this issue. Here are a few things that you can try out:

      • Try updating the graphics driver to the latest version (assuming you have a professional dedicated graphic card), 
      • Try turning off firewall and anti-virus software (or add exclusions to the entire ANSYS Inc folder). 

      Let me know if this works.
