Cycle repetition in ansys workbench (low cycle fatigue)

Hello everybody, nI'm performing a thermo-mechanical fatigue analysis with ansys workbench. nI wanted to ask if there is a way to perform the following with ansys workbench: nApply one load cycle (displacement and temperature)nRead an output variable which I defined (damage) nIf this variable is lower than a defined maximum value, then repeat the load cyclenIncrement a cycle counting variablenRepeat till the damage reaches a maximum value that I define. nIs this something feasible with workbench?Thank you very much for your help! n

Probably not. How are calculating the output variable? Are you calculating it using the Mechanical Fatigue Tool (FT) or are you calculating it using MAPDL commands?n

the output variable is calculated through a dedicated script in fortran. n

You would need to write an ACT extension to drive this analysis or drive it using MAPDL commands in a Command Object. You could transfer the model to MAPDL and use it.n
