Good morning,
Could you please help me?
I can't define my domain outputs. It gives me the following error, "Flow outlet 10 is applied to a curved face. The flow direction will be applied in a uniform direction normal to the face". What should I do to define the triangles set as outputs? -

Ansys EmployeeHello Sandra Sorte
Currently Discovery takes only planar faces for CFD inlet and outlet specifications. It takes average normal direction for curved surfaces for velocity and mass flow rate. You will get this warning for curved faces. Exception: pressure BC is applied at curved face, since it is by default normal to surface at all locations.
I will make an enhancement request for this to be added.
Regards.

Ansys EmployeeHello Sandra Sorte
I have a correction on the above point I mentioned, this is currently not possible in Explore mode of Discovery but you can use Refine mode which allows the specification on a planar as well as curved face.
Please use Refine mode to define the triangles set as output for your case and you will not get that message.
I have also filed an enhancement request for this functionality to be added in Discovery Explore mode.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Regards.
