Defining a fluid domain in an extrusion cut of a solid body

  Hello all,
  
  I have created a solid plate shown in the images below, I then extruded a channels cut the goes through the whole plate.
  
  I want to define these channels as fluid and have the plate as a solid body, I know that boolean requires two bodies to substract.
  
  Any ideas?

  When you Cut you removed the bit where you wanted the fluid. Have a look at the options under Slice when the bodies are frozen.
