SubscriberHello Team, For an component with multiple parts can we define different convection inputs for different parts in Explore mode? Regards, Dheeraj -

I believe you should be able to do that. Are you facing any issues with this?

Thank you for the quick response. Let me explain my scenario.
When we model a electronic component, all the parts are taking the same default convection value. In my case component is closed and convection should be applied only on outer surface. In general, when I assign heat input default convection is getting applied for all the parts(inside parts and outer surface).
How can I assign default convection to outer surfaces only??
PS: Need solution in Explore stage only.

Dheeraj

I'm not sure I understand clearly. Is there a vacuum inside or a different convection value inside the body? I suspect the model will be insufficiently constraint in such a case.

Yes!! There appears a vacuum inside the domain. So only Convective rate should be applied on the exterior domain.

I'm checking from my end. Let me run a few iterations from my side and get back to you on this.
