SubscriberI am interested to evaluate and monitor, during a 2D steady Fluent run, the (average) pressure difference between two different line locations. To do so, I defined two lines, under
Surface -> create -> Line/Rake -> Line
and, while these two locations are visible and manageable under e.g.
Reports-> Definitions -> New -> Surface report -> Area-Weighted Average
they seem inaccessible under Named expressions-> New
which I need to compute the difference. I am pretty sure that I am missing something trivial, but that's it...
Thanks!
Enrico

Ansys EmployeeI'd create two reports (one for each line) and then an expression to find the difference. This avoids needing to reference locations in the expression. Which version of Fluent are you using? I ask as there have been a lot of changes with expressions over the last few releases and I've lost track of what went in when.

SubscriberHello Rob Thanks for the prompt answer! This will solve my problem. I am using ANSYS Fluent 2021R2 within Workbench.
Thanks and regards!
