SubscriberHello, I installed Ansys Fluent 2020R1 at Windows 10 which worked finely. As I had an error while installing the license manager, I decided to Unistall everything and redo it again. The deinstallation of Ansys worked fine, however when I follow the instructions from the manual to deinstall the license manager I run into a problem. When I type in the following command nC:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\\ansysli_server -k uninstallnthe command line tool gives me the error that there is a syntax error or that the path is not found. Do you have an idea how to solve the problem n -

SubscriberAs an addition I have now included the err file from the installation.nThe way I want to install is by typing the following commands: ncd \Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\winx64 nAfter that I am in the winx64 directory where the file ansysli_server exists. If I write ncd \Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\winx64\ansysli_server the System cannot find the path . If I write ncd \Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\winx64\ansysli_server -k unistall the command is accepted but nothing visible happensnArrayn -

Ansys EmployeeThe error in the install was only due to not having a license file in place already. You should be able to open the License Management Center and install your license file. If you are running the STUDENT version, there is no need to install the license manager.n -

SubscriberThank you this indeed helped to get it running and yes I am using a student version running over a license server from my university. I do have an additional question which is about the Ansys tutorials. As far as I know the data is available on the customer portal but I do not have a log in for that and I can't create one as far as I know. Is there any way to get access to it? n -

Ansys EmployeeYou could have the professor register for the portal and access some materials for you.n
