Design Explorer: How to pick a deformed dimension as an output parameter

      Hi,

I need to choose a deformed dimension as an output parameter for DX. What's the best of way doing that?

I know that you can easily choose solutions (like, stress, strain, deformation) as parameters. But how to do it on a dimension? (dimension: distance between two points in the deformed shape).

One way can be: assigning initial dimensions as input parameters in SpaceClaim/DesignModeler and set deformation as an output parameter, then constraint the input and output in a way so that the final deformed dimension can be optimized. This general way, can easily get complicated though, depending on the geometry.

      Any other/easier way?

      thanks
