i have made a NACA4412 in ANSYS 18.1. my blade have 9 sections. i have created it using skin/loft command. now for the root section where i have to loft my airfoil section and circular sketch. i am unable to do it because of this error. i have converted this circular sketch into a line using line from sketches command then i have split edge into 2 so that my arifoil section and circular shape can have same number of edges. even after doing that . i still cannot loft it. i am trying to do CFD analysis on a Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine.

Ansys EmployeeI'd suggest using the later versions as R18 is getting quite old now. I assume you're using the University system?
Assuming the sketches have the same number of edges it should work. However the created surface may be fairly nasty. Try using the Concept tools to manually create the faces.

Ansys EmployeeIt'll be the shape of the face it's trying to create. Use the later version at University and use the Concept tools to guide the shape.
