I am working on ansys workbench 16 design modeler. I would like to request for geometry of pullout bar in a cube. I tried to draw it by myself but i couldnt figure out how to draw the bar embedded to a certain length in a pre drawn cube. It would be of much help if someone could help me on it.
I have attached a sample image of the desired geometry.
Rectangular cube size say 5x5x10 mm
      Bar embedded size 1 mm
Bar free length can be 2 mm

      Thank you

There was one last step to have the rod embedded in the cube. Add a Boolean from the Create menu and subtract the rod (tool) from the cube (target), and keep the tool (rod).

Are you using ANSYS 16.0 or 16.2?

I have ANSYS 16.2 installed (as well as 17.2 18.2 and 19.0). If you can upgrade to 16.2 then I can send you files.
