Dielectric Elasomer

  Hello,
  
  Can anyone help me in simulating a Dielectric elastomer actuator? Should I use a modal or harmonic response or electric? The material I am using is a pre-stretched acrylic sheet with CNT patches as electrodes on the top and bottom of the sheet. How to apply a voltage and find the deformation of the sheet?

  Hello,
  
  You can use an ACT extension to add voltage in a structural/modal/harmonic analysis. The ACT is Piezo and MEMS, you can find it in Ansys app store by below link. The downloaded folder should contain multiple workshops and application examples.
